Is Mecha BREAK on VR or Quest? What to Play Instead

Mecha BREAK is not on VR or Quest. Amazing Seasun's multiplayer mecha shooter launched on PC and Xbox in July 2025, a PS5 version is planned, and there is no VR support and no plans for it. So the search for "mecha break vr" has a short answer: it does not exist, and nothing suggests it will. What you can do on a Quest headset is find the parts of Mecha BREAK you actually care about, fast strikers, transforming machines and arena matches, in native VR games. We run through the closest fits below.

Mecha BREAK VR support: the current state

At the time of writing, Mecha BREAK is available on PC and Xbox, with PS5 on the way. It is a flat-screen game. You could stream it to a virtual screen in a headset with Virtual Desktop, but that is a big monitor, not VR.

There is no Quest version, no PC VR mode and no announced roadmap for either. If that changes, we will update this page.

MECHA and Mecha BREAK are unrelated

We make a Quest game called MECHA. It has nothing to do with Mecha BREAK. Different studio, different platforms, different design: ours is a single-player VR arena sport released in December 2025, theirs is a multiplayer PC and console shooter. If you arrived here looking for Mecha BREAK, nothing on our site is a port of it.

Fast strikers: MECHA

If the striker class is what you play in Mecha BREAK, the closest feeling on Quest is MECHA's lean-based flight. Your body is the flight stick: lean to strafe, dash and dodge a 200-ton mech through aerial arena fights. There is no thumbstick flight to learn. It is single-player only, with rival AI pilots, so it will not replace a ranked lobby. Verdict: the closest striker feel on Quest, without the online part.

Transformations: MECHA's Gigaform

Mecha BREAK's transforming machines have a rough cousin in MECHA's Gigaform, a power that triples your mech's size to dominate the arena for a time. It changes how a match feels mid-round, which is the same rush a transformation gives you. Verdict: not a one-to-one match, but the same idea of a mid-fight shift in scale.

Arena matches with other people: Iron Rebellion and Vox Machinae

If what you want is other humans, MECHA is the wrong pick. Iron Rebellion is 8v8 cockpit mech combat built around online play, with bots for solo practice. Vox Machinae is heavier and slower, with a full sim cockpit, online multiplayer and a single-player campaign added in 2022. Neither is fast the way Mecha BREAK is, but both give you a team fight. Verdict: Iron Rebellion for team matches, Vox Machinae for weight.

Competitive mech sport: Ultimechs

Ultimechs from Resolution Games is a mech sports game in the style of Rocket League, 1v1 or 2v2 online, free with in-app purchases. It is not a shooter, but it has the competitive, short-match rhythm that keeps Mecha BREAK players queuing. Verdict: the free one to try if you want online mech competition on Quest.

Solo runs: Mecha Force

Mecha Force is a single-player roguelike melee mecha game with an anime-style KYLIN mech. It is in Early Access with comfort listed as moderate. Verdict: for the anime mech look on a budget.
